Rightworks participated in Boomer Consulting’s Technology and Firm Circle Summit in Kansas City, KS with Patrick Dugal and Robert Frazier in attendance this past week. Roman Kepczyk spoke Tuesday morning on his Techs Trends and Disrupters program. Key discussion themes from the Summit highlighted the transition to the cloud providing remote access and collaboration opportunities being the standard point of entry today, which subsequently opens the door to the next wave of data automation focusing on the quality of data, utilizing analytics tools, and performance dashboards.
During the “Boomer Briefing” in the afternoon, Boomer leadership identified their Top Three “Technology Stack” items that firms had to focus on to increase net income in the next few years which were:
- Cloud applications and the remote access/collaboration capabilities that come with moving to the cloud.
- Data Quality including the use of analytics tools and dashboards to query and present the data in a useful manner.
- Automation of manual/rote processes using APIs, data transfer/import tools, and machine learning which will eventually lead to the adoption of robotic process automation.
