The Business Stability Scorecard is a framework that measures overall business health across three pillars: Technology & Workflows, Security & IT Administration, and Business Management. Each business receives a completion score based on how well they meet the criteria across those pillars, with areas that matter most to long-term stability carrying greater weight in the final score. That score then places each business into one of five stages—from Stage 1: Establishing (0%-49%), where the groundwork begins, all the way to Stage 5: Empowering (95%-100%), where a business is truly built to last.
Most respondents complete the questionnaire in less than 5 minutes.
The questionnaire should be completed by business owners or those with comprehensive knowledge of the business’s operations in areas of technology, security, and IT setup and business management practices. You may want to consult with your IT manager or security vendor for the more technical questions.
The scorecard questionnaire is designed to be relevant for all business sizes.
Just select the “Don’t know” option. You won’t earn points for these answers, but you won’t lose points either. Those are areas where your business might need better documentation or awareness.
All of your answers, weighted by importance, are combined to provide you with an overall percentage score and placement on our business stability scale.
This score breaks down into three focus areas—Technology & Workflows, Security & IT Administration, and Business Management—each showing its own completion percentage. Use these insights to prioritize where to improve: address your weakest areas, strengthen security gaps, or advance technology to improve collaboration and efficiency.
The questionnaire helps you understand where you are today and provides insights that may help inform your business’s development. Higher stability scores indicate you have made advancements and improved operations, but keep in mind that the “right” stage depends on your business goals and client needs.
